Medical
Employees can choose among three different health plans provided
by United HealthCare. These plans offer employees and their dependents
(including domestic partners, if eligible) access to a very large
network of quality physicians and provide the option of traditional
indemnity insurance coverage. Clients pay a set amount of the total
health premiums and employees pay the remainder with pre-tax dollars.
Dental
Employees can choose between two different dental plans provided
by MetLife Dental. These plans offer employees and their dependents
(including domestic partners, if eligible) access to a very large
network of quality dentists and provide the option of traditional
indemnity insurance coverage. Clients pay a set amount of total
health premiums and employees pay the remainder with pre-tax dollars.
Life Insurance
Ambrose offers three different group life insurance plans in the
amounts of $50,000, 1 times salary, and 2 times salary. In addition,
employees have the option of purchasing supplemental life insurance.
All coverage is guaranteed issue.
Short Term Disability
Ambrose provides mandatory Short Term Disability
Insurance to all employees. In the event of disability, this policy
will compensate employees for 60% of salary and commission. The
maximum benefit is $750 per week, except in California and New Jersey
where employees are covered through the state mandated funds. Ambrose
takes responsibility for processing all short-term disability claims.
Long Term Disability
Ambrose offers Long Term Disability Insurance
that, in the event of a disability, compensates employees for 60%
of salary and commissions. The maximum benefit is $12,500 per month.
Ambrose takes responsibility for processing all long-term disability
claims.
401(k) Retirement Plan
Employees may participate in a self-directed retirement
plan with 34 mutual funds from 12 fund families (American Century,
Delaware Investments, Dreyfus, Fidelity, Janus, Guardian, MFS, Franklin,
Goldman Sachs, SSgA, Templeton, and T. Rowe Price). This plan has
three features, including: the 401(k) component, which allows employees
to voluntarily defer salary tax free; an optional matching component
that allows a client to match its employees' voluntary deferrals;
and profit sharing contributions.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees may participate in health care reimbursement accounts
and dependent care reimbursement accounts. These special tax accounts
allow employees to spend pre-tax wages on qualifying medical and
dependent care expenses, such as vision, dental care, health care
expenses not covered by insurance and qualifying day care expenses.
Worker's Compensation
Ambrose provides worker's compensation coverage for all employees.
Ambrose administers the workers' compensation policy and takes responsibility
for handling the year-end payroll audit.
