Retirement Plan Specialist Assistant

 

Ambrose is looking for the right candidate to assist in the performance of the day-to-day responsibilities for its multiple employer defined contribution retirement plan with approximately 3500 plan participants. Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Processing loans and distributions;
  • Assist in conducting retirement plan group enrollments;
  • Assist in supporting, training and educating internal
    staff and clients regarding retirement plan options
    and issues;
  • Assist in supporting sales group on retirement plan questions and issues;
  • Assist in administering new clients' retirement plan
    set up;
  • Assist clients with freeze, termination and/or merger of existing plans;
  • Assist in investigating and explaining ongoing retirement plan issues to internal staff, serviced employees and clients;
  • Assist in the coordination, distribution and collection of the annual retirement plan questionnaire;
  • Assist in conducting the annual retirement plan testing and interphase with TPA;
  • Assist in resolving general day-to-day issues regarding the retirement plan;
  • Work with accounting department on HRIS-related retirement plan issues; and
  • Assist in administering plan-to-plan terminations.
